Owner
My name is Semmes Humphreys, and I am a luxury travel advisor (and the owner) of Semmes Travel, a Bucket List blogger, and a freelance travel writer. When I am not traveling, I live in Memphis, TN.
I believe that travel is one of the best forms of education. Growing up, I had the opportunity to travel and learn about the world first hand. Furthermore, I have an innate curiosity of the world and everything around me.
My Background
I have a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Rhodes College and a Master’s of Science degree from the University of Memphis. While I loved the classroom environment, I was always planning a trip to somewhere new and exciting in order to enhance my educational experience. It was during a trip on a Windstar Cruise in 2016 I learned about the value of a travel advisor.
I own another successful business in a different industry for many years. Therefore, I have a strong background in organizational skills, customer service, communication, attention to detail, planning, and a deep connection to my community. I decided to combine those skills with a passion for travel to become a luxury travel advisor and owner of Semmes Travel, an affiliate of Air Sea International Travel, Inc. As an affiliate, I work with and use the resources of some of the most knowledgeable and well-traveled advisors in the industry. In addition, I am a Virtuoso travel advisor.
My Mission
I am dedicated to helping people celebrate life through travel and exploration of the world. I want to help people find their passion for life while creating wonderful memories, exploring the unknown, and experiencing the extraordinary.

My Area of Expertise
I specialize in small and luxury cruises, travel in Europe, and travel in the United States. Additionally, I am a Star Specialist/ Certified Windstar Cruises Expert and a Regent Seven Seas Cruise Expert.
As of December 2017, I am now a Disney Specialist.
