The Process
Whether traveling as a couple or a large family, Semmes Travel will create a personalized travel experience. I collaborate with my clients to celebrate life and plan an extraordinary trip of a lifetime.
1. Contact
First, contact me to get started on this journey! During this phase, we start our conversation. I want to get to know you, your preferences, your travel style, and the travel experience you are looking for. I will brainstorm ideas with you to get us started planning an epic travel experience and get you excited about your future trip!
If you decide to use me as your luxury travel advisor, there may be fees involved to cover the time for the research, the planning, the detailed and customized itinerary, and the time for managing and booking your trip. Fees are based on the elements involved (i.e. hotel, air, tours, transfers, etc.) and their complexity. Fees vary case-to-case. I will discuss the fees with you in our initial conversation.
Are the fees worth it? Yes! I can save you a lot of money and/or provide exclusive benefits that will outweigh any fees involved. If you still feel unsure about the fees, read my 8 reasons why to use a travel advisor.
2. Plan & Design
I draw inspiration from my personal travel experiences, my relationships with various vendors and partnerships, my travel affiliates, and from my previous clients’ trips that I have designed. Furthermore, I have access to a huge network of experienced travel advisors, the Virtuoso network, travel vendor suppliers, hotel partners, airlines, tour operators, and on-site tour companies around the world. From these relationships, you will have access to special amenities, VIP treatment (such as hotel credits, breakfast included, upgrades, etc.), and unique travel experiences.
Every client and every trip is different. Therefore, I will tailor the design of your trip to you and your preferences. I will use my experience and my relationships to help design you a memorable and exciting trip while creating a customized itinerary based on your preferences, needs, travel style, and wants.
3. Book
I will often communicate with you to make sure every aspect and angle of your trip is covered. Once you approve your customized itinerary, I will book all the logistics while ensuring any special requests and VIP status at certain luxury hotels. Please note, until the deposit is placed, the prices and availability are subject to change. Also, I highly, highly recommend travel insurance.
Before you depart on your trip, I will provide you with your customized itinerary, your travel documents, and reference material. Furthermore, I will also have your itinerary and travel documents on a special travel app so you can have everything at your fingertips. I will also be here throughout the process to answer any questions and address any concerns.
4. Experience
